PXW tore down the house in Cementon with a night of nonstop action!
DMan & Smasher def. The Luchabillies
DMan & Smasher entered the arena with no-nonsense attitudes, ready to get their match over and head off to the pub for the night. But their eagerness was met with early hijinx as the Luchabillies came to the ring, not to their own music, but to the music of DMan Davidson and paraded around like tough bikers. However, all fun and laughter aside, the antics of the Luchabillies weren't enough to stop Smasher and DMan from doing what they do best: pummeling and leaving.
Master Andrew Bates def. Rodney X
Rodney X has had a tough route since losing the Lightweight Title. At Aftermath he found himself against one-half of the PXW Tag Team Champions, Master Andrew Bates. With Bates' tag partner, Wyndham James Winthorpe III at ringside, Rodney found himself not only outnumbered but distracted by the man who won't shut up, Wyndham. After a sheer display of power and dominance by Bates, Rodney conjured up the strength to take the big man down with a vicious aerial assault and an axe kick. But as Rodney climbed the top rope to finish his adversary, Wyndham was quick to knock him off the turnbuckles and feed him to a hungry Bates who hit a devastating shoulder tackle for the win. After the match Wyndham placed the Union Jack over Rodney's body symbolising another big W for the Brits.
One Shot & J.C. Westler battle to Double Countout
After defeating Rodney X at March Madness, J.C. Westler entered Aftermath with much to prove against the cocky and arrogant Lightweight Champion, One Shot. As always One Shot was in pompous form, mocking his opponent and cutting him off. After a back and forth battle of technical prowess and aerial wonder, both men gave up civility and battled outside the ring. Too engrossed in their battle, the referee Pete Musser had no choice but to disqualify both men after the ten count had been reached. The question is have we seen the last of these two in battle or is this just another feud in the making?
Ricky Suave def. Wyndham James Winthorpe III
Wyndham entered the arena prepared for another victory but his own arrogance costed him a victory. After Ricky Suave made his way to the ring, Wyndham grabbed the mic and made it clear he didn't require the assistance of Bates. With Bates back in the locker room, Wyndham began an assault on Suave that was met with courage and heart from the fan favourite dancing star. Suave battled back with numerous shots and clotheslines but when he attempted to deliver the Suave Cutter, Wyndham countered and hit the Yorkshire Slam. But rather than attempt the pinfall, Wyndham continued his assault, knocked the referee out by "accident" and left the ring to grab his tag team title, presumably to bludgeon Suave with it. However, Wyndham was cut short when he re-entered the ring as Rodney X's music hit. Waiting for Rodney to enter through the entranceway, Wyndham was met with a dropkick to the back from the former Lightweight Champion as he dived into the ring from the audience. He delivered a quick 619 prompting Wyndham to fall into an unexpected Suave Cutter from an energy depleted Ricky. Rodney woke the ref leading to a huge three count. After the match Rodney and Suave challened the tag-team champions for their titles. An irate Wyndham made it clear his answer was no, but as always, Bates made it clear the answer would be a resounding yes.
Main Event Tag Team Match: Sean Haze & Lovebug def. Marshal Law & Sebastian McKool For the last several months PXW fans have had to watch Sebastian McKool's army grow with the likes of Smasher LeBlanc, DMan Davidson, Danny Rage and eventually the coup de grace - Marshal Law. Hence, clearly Lovebug and Haze entered the arena grossly outnumbered. However, neither man displayed any dispirit, even adding to Commissioner Styn that they would face Sebastian & Marshal in any match they wanted. With that the stipulations became clearer: if Lovebug's team won, Sean Haze would become the NEW Number One Contender for the Champion's title; if he lost, he could never again challenge for it. During the main event Sebastian and Marshal did their best to cheat and decimate their opponents but as they began to gain the upperhand; Sebastian made a new stipulation: make it a hardcore match. With that he tried to utilise the services of Smasher and Dman. He was met with a spit of water in the face from Dman who left with his tag team partner. A frustrated Sebastian then tried to pull out all he could to defeat his opponents but as he had Sean Haze outside the ring, in a bit of deja-vu from March Madness: Marshal Law allowed Lovebug to fall over on him, gaining the three count and a new number one contender. A bewildered and angry Sebastian McKool demanded an explanation but it was not to his liking. Marshal and Lovebug had planned it for months and on Sebastian McKool's expense, they lived the high life with a suitcase full of cash. Sean Haze then delivered a devastating death valley driver to the Champion and all three celebrated in the ring as Aftermath came to a close.
